W65C134DB Developer Board


The W65C134DB Developer Board reference design has been proven for use with our ProSDK, Software Development Kit, with a Terbium IDE (TIDE) port including our embedded TIDE monitor. This reference design has been manufactured by a WDC’s PCB Partner. You can have either this DB built or a modified version by one of our PCB Partners for embedded system use. Also, this or a modified version could emulate an ASIC System-on-Chip (SoC) microcontroller that embeds either WDC’s W65C02S GDSII hard Core or W65C02SRTL Verilog RTL Core. You may download our design files, documentation, ProSDK trial version, and order free samples of our Chips for qualified projects. WDC’s reference design is meant to help you get started with our Terbium/65xx technology as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Developer Board Features

W65C134S 8–bit MCU, total access to all control lines, Memory Bus, Programmable I/O Bus, PC Interface, 20 I/O lines, two on–board oscillators, 32K SRAM, 32K EPROM, W65C22S Versatile Interface Adapter VIA peripheral chip, on–board matrix, PLD for Memory map decoding and ASIC design.

The on–board W65C134S and the W65C22S devices have measurement points for power consumption. Power input is provided by an optional power board which plugs into the 10 pin power header.
